3D CAMERA
Surround sight has come to the camera. Inspired by the eye of a fly, EPFL scientists have invented a camera that can take pictures and film in 360° and reconstruct the images in 3D. Over one hundred cameras, similar to those used in mobile phones, are crowded onto a metallic hemisphere the size of an orange. Because they are so close together, their range of vision overlaps slightly. A second, miniature prototype has also been developed. It’s about the size of a golf ball and has 15 cameras.

Solar Powered Yacht
Replace the motors with solar panels, car …, the concept made its way, but not really on a boat and is the idea of the Australian Solar Sailor. For transporting passengers, cargo and pleasure boats, fuel consumption is reduced of 10% with this system!
So there are things to make substantial savings while protecting the environment. To advance the building, a wing and retractable hard-lined photovoltaic, planted on the boat gets solar energy used to power the motor.
By orienting the panel properly, you can also use the wind to move forward. It was even thought of some equip vessels of several wings to produce more energy. An idea that would be good even thrive!
